About This Major
A fellowship training program that prepares physicians to make or confirm diagnoses of Mendelian genetic disorders, disorders of human development, infectious diseases and malignancies, and to assess the natural history of those disorders, using the principles, theory, and technologies of molecular biology and molecular genetics. Requires prior completion of a residency program in medical genetics or pathology. This CIP code is not valid for IPEDS reporting.
