About This Major
A fellowship training program that prepares physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of all types of cancer and other benign and malignant tumors; this includes deciding on and administering therapy for these malignancies, as well as consulting with surgeons and radiotherapists on other treatments for cancer. Requires prior completion of a residency program in internal medicine. This CIP code is not valid for IPEDS reporting.
