About This Major
A fellowship training program that prepares physicians to care for, or provide consultation on, patients with complications of pregnancy, based on advanced knowledge of the obstetrical, medical, and surgical complications of pregnancy, and their effect on both the mother and the fetus, and expertise in the most current diagnostic and treatment modalities used in the care of patients with complicated pregnancies. Requires prior completion of a residency program in obstetrics and gynecology. This CIP code is not valid for IPEDS reporting.
