About This Major
A fellowship training program that prepares physicians in the natural history, prevention and treatment of major infectious diseases, including sexually transmitted diseases, and the long-term management of patients. Includes instruction in epidemiology, identification and specimen collection techniques, and quality assurance and cost containment. Requires prior completion of a residency program in internal medicine. This CIP code is not valid for IPEDS reporting.
